Presented is a charming Hutschenreuther porcelain figurine of a mallard duck in
flight. This figurine was made in Germany, and dates to around the 1930s-1950s.
The duck is realistically formed and beautifully hand painted in the bird’s
natural colors, flying over a little section of pond with reeds. The duck is
quite lifelike and dynamic, and this would be an exceptional gift for any duck
hunter or ornithologist in your life. This seems to be a fairly rare
Hutschenreuther piece, and this particular example is both vintage and in mint
condition.

This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no
breaks, and no repairs. Please view the photos carefully and let them guide your
judgment.

The figurine is signed on the underside with the Hutschenreuther mark in
green, as well as the number 10 and an old paper label. Impressed under the
glaze is the name H. Achtziger, and the number 99.

The figurine stands about 4 1/2 inches tall and measures about 5 ? inches
wide for the wingspan.
