Presented is a unique hand made sterling silver bangle bracelet by jewelry designer Alfred Karram, dating to around the 1970s. The bracelet is made in a stylish design, with three springlike elements around the band and a simple interlocking clasp. Alfred Karram (1932-2017) was a well known jewelry artisan (and later architect) working in New York, whose striking Modernist designs have appeared in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the NY Museum of Arts and Design.
This piece is stamped and guaranteed sterling, as well as a maker's mark for Alfred Karram.
This piece is in great condition. No breaks and no repairs.
The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 6 1/2 inches in circumference or smaller, and is about 18 millimeters wide at the widest point, and about 3 millimeters wide at the narrowest.
