Rare Georg Jensen Old Production Sterling Silver Acorn Serving Fork

Presented is a fantastic Georg Jensen sterling silver serving fork. This piece is made in the classic Acorn pattern, which began production in 1915. As the name suggests, this pattern features a stylized acorn design on the handle. The piece is well made, with the marks of hand hammering visible in the finish of the tines. This particular piece is an example of an older style of Acorn pattern pieces, with floral embellishment above the tines of the fork that is not present on more moden pieces.
