Presented is a very pretty cameo brooch that is also fitted with a retractable bail to be worn as a pendant (chain or ribbon not included). The setting is of 10 karat yellow gold in a lovely ribbon twist design. The clasp is a lever catch style which is quite secure.
The gold on this piece is marked in two places for 10k gold. The cameo carving itself was probably made in Italy, and the setting is of American origin. It has the mark for “Church,” an American company. It was made in the 1940s to 1950s.
