Presented is an elegant cameo pin carved from coral in the form of a beautiful young girl with flowers. The cameo is in a lovely 14K gold openwork frame. The frame has a pin back and a hinged bale so that it can also be used as a pendant. The cameo is modern, probably made in the 1950s or 1960s.
The cameo is marked 14K on the frame. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold. The cameo is in good overall condition. There are two small lines in the upper left corner of the coral. I do not believe these are cracks, but merely part of the natural structure of the coral. There are no chips, no breaks, and
no repairs. The cameo measures 1 6/8 inches by 1 3/8 inches.
