Pair of Antique 14K Gold Victorian Baby Bracelets or 7 inch Women's Bracelet
A Victorian treasure! Presented is a fine pair of beautiful Victorian baby bracelets in 14K yellow gold mesh that when clasped together, convert to a lady’s bracelet. Each little bracelet has a small, button-shaped, deeply textured gold pendant decorated with black enamel grape leaves that covers the box clasp. A lovely textured, beaded medallion finishes the mesh chain on one end, with a polished locking clasp on the other. These bracelets, made from high karat gold with intricate accent clasps were likely given to a baby of a wealthy family.
All parts of the bracelet test and are guaranteed to be made of 14K yellow gold.
Condition: The condition of both bracelets is good overall. There are no problems with the clasps or enameled pendants at all. Regarding the mesh, only one bracelet has a single loose thread, but it is hidden beneath the excess length of the bracelet as it exits the bezel bound to the pendant, and as the photos show, there are a few light dents along the mesh in one bracelet more than the other.
Dimensions: Each baby bracelet measures 3 1/2 inches long (excluding the tongue of the clasp), creating a 7 inch bracelet when combined, so it will fit a wrist of under 7 inches in circumference.
