Presented is a completely hand crafted, sterling silver pin made by McClelland Barclay during the early 1940s. Barclay was a noted American illustrator and designer during the first half of the 1900s and produced nearly all of his sterling silver Arts & Crafts jewelry in 1942 and 1943. The thick pin is in an openwork oak leaf form, with a pair of small acorns at the top right corner. We have a matching bracelet for sale in a separate auction, please check out that auction if you are interested in both pieces as a set. This is a large pin. The back of the piece is marked McClelland Barclay and sterling silver. This piece is in virtually mint condition. There are no damages and no repairs.
The pin measures 2 1/2 by 1 5/8 inches long and weighs 26.3 grams.
