Magnificent Victorian 14k Yellow Gold Pearl Enamel Pin Brooch

Presented is a14k gold Victorian pin of good weight with an old style safety clasp/stick pin made during the mid to late 19th century. This piece is done in 14k yellow gold and is absolutely covered with the finest hand engraving and enamel tracery. The enamel work is in black and white and is in sharp geometric lines which contrasts nicely with the scrolling engraving in the background. Nice quality pearls are set in a raised half ridge in the center of the pin. The clasp on back was replaced with a more modern clasp but this more modern clasp is still quite old. This is a 1910 style clasp but the pin is 1860's to 1880s. There is a pendant or watch hook on back which is original.
Like most Victorian jewelry this piece is not hallmarked however, we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14k gold. The pin is in excellent condition. There are some spots where the enamel has been replaced, but it is hard to tell for sure. There is a small amount of black enamel missing from a few spots, but this is inconsequential. The pearls are in excellent condition and are probably replaced. There are no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.
The pin is 1 1/8 inches wide and long. The pin weighs 10.3 grams.
