Presented is a lovely pair of 14 karat gold and green stone earrings. These earrings date to the 1950s-1960s, and were probably made in Hong Kong or China by for high end retail. Each earring is set with an oval piece of green stone, probably jasper/chalcedony, with rich mottling in shades of green. The gold around the stone is done in an attractive leaf design. These are stud style, post back earrings, for pierced ears. The earrings are in great condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The earring backs are stamped 14k. We have tested the earrings themselves with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 14 karat gold.
Each earring is about 5/8 of an inch by 3/8 of an inch.
The earrings weigh 2.0 grams.
