Presented is a beautiful antique 14 karat yellow gold, seed pearl and turquoise
color glass ring. This is a wonderful old Victorian piece, likely of American
make, dating to circa the 1870s-1880s. The head of the ring is set with 8 little
blue-green glass 'stones' that look like sugar loaf cut turquoise, arranged in a kind of diamond shape, with four real seed pearls in a horizontal band across the middle. The shoulders of the ring have fantastic applied flowers in multi tone gold, rose gold for the stem, green gold for the leaves, and platinum for the petals, with finely hand engraved detailing. Really a lovely old piece.

This ring is in great overall condition. The seed pearls are somewhat worn,
but are all intact. The blue-green stones on one side of the head of the ring
have some wear or are possibly replacements, as they are more rounded than the
ones on the other side. The designs are nice and crisp.

This ring is stamped 14 inside a shield shape on the interior of the band. We
have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The ring is a size 8. The head of the ring measures about 12.7 millimeters,
north to south. The band is about 3.8 millimeters wide at the narrowest point.

This ring weighs 3.1 grams.
