Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold and pearl pin or brooch. This is an American piece, dating to around the 1950s-1970s, though it is done in an older Art Nouveau style. The pin is done in the form of three flowers on an artfully swirled leafy steam. Each flower is set with a pearl in the center, two white and one black. The gold is finely textured and detailed throughout. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp.
The pin is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested the gold with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The pin is about 1 3/8 inches long.
The pin weighs 8.6 grams.
