Presented is a lovely 14 karat gold and jadeite jade pin or brooch. This piece features a stunning hand carved piece of rich green jadeite, carve with an ornate floral openwork design. The jade is set in a hand-made gold filigree frame, very fine and detailed. The pin has a rollover style clasp, which we believe is a replacement.
The pin is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The pin measures about 1 3/4 by 1 1/8 inches.
The pin weighs 7.8 grams.
