Presented is a lovely, German silver dish or bowl made during the late 1800s. The sides are pierced with openwork designs. There are 4 unmonogrammred cartouches or crests along the inside. There are gadroons or swags of flowers in between each crest.
The dish is marked with the German crown and crescent moon symbol and 800 for the silver purity.
This piece is in great condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp. There are no damages, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The dish measures 7 by 10 1/4 inches and is 1 7/8 inches tall.
