Presented is a unique pair of 18 karat yellow gold, opal stone and mother of pearl shell earrings designed by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Company. The earrings are done in a dome form and are designed with a checkerboard pattern set with colorful opals and mother pearl shells. The earrings have posts for pierced ears and omega backings for added security.
We researched this pair of earrings online and out of all the other available sets, ours is the largest and best quality. Other sellers are offering the smaller version for $4,450, $3,850 and $5,995.
Each earring is marked Tiffany & Co and 750 for 18K gold purity.
This pair is in excellent condition. There are a couple of tiny lines in the stones, but this could be natural and also this is only noticeable upon very close inspection.
Each earring measures 1 inch or 25.25 millimeters in diameter.
