Regular price $316.80 $0.00 Unit price per

Presented is a unique, 14 karat rose gold lizard stickpin made in America during
the late 19th or early 20th century. This piece was made between 1890 and 1920.
The top is mounted with a full bodied, realistically cast lizard or monitor, or
possibly even an alligator or crocodile, complete with tiny ruby or garnet eyes.
The backing is probably not original but it is solidly constructed. We have
included a stopper for added security.

The rose gold lizard/alligator has been tested with nitric acid and is
guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity. The shaft has also been tested and is
guaranteed to be 10 karat gold purity.

This piece is in fabulous overall condition. The back has been reinforced but
this is not visible on the front of the piece. There are no dents, no breaks, no
splits and no repairs.

The stickpin measures 2 3/8 inches long and weighs 3.9 grams.
The lizard measures 34.7 mm or 1.36 inches from tip of nose to end of tail. The width of the lizard from hind paw across body to other hind paw is 9.4 mm or .37 inches.
