Impressive Antique c1900 American Sterling Silver Three Handle Trophy Loving Cup

Presented is a fabulous American sterling silver three handled trophy or loving cup. This piece was made or retailed by Black, Starr & Frost and dates to around the turn of the century. The cup is done in a handsome classical form, with scroll form handles decorated with foliate designs. The cup has never been monogrammed, presented, or otherwise inscribed, and is polished to a bright mirror shine.

This piece is in great overall condition. There is a minor ding to the narrow point above the base. There is a professional dent removal which is only visible on the interior. There are no splits, no breaks, no major dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Black, Starr & Frost.

The trophy is about 10 1/8 inches tall.

This piece weighs 1271 grams or 44.8 regular ounces.
