Presented is a highly decorative, sterling silver serving spoon made by Durgin. This piece is in the Heraldic pattern, which was patented in 1880. The handle is designed with a knights helmet surrounded by sinuous scrolls and a shell at the tip. The front of the handle has a monogram of the initials FAF. The bowl is slightly ruffled.
The back is marked with the Durgin hallmark, sterling and B.B.&B. for the retailer.
This piece is in excellent condition and the designs are crisp. There are no damages and no repairs.
The spoon measures 7 1/8 inches long.
