Presented is a great sterling silver asparagus serving fork from Durgin. This piece is in the Louis XV pattern, which was patented in 1891. The pattern displays fancy scrolls and fluted leaves along both sides of the handle. The front cartouche is monogrammed KDP in a flowing script.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Durgin.
This piece is in great overall condition. The designs are crisp. The fork end once had a gold wash but it is mostly worn off. There are no breaks and no repairs.
