Handsome 14k Rose Gold Diamond & Ruby Cigarette Case

Presented is a superb quality 14 karat rose gold cigarette case, set with rubies and diamonds. The case is done in a sleek, stylish design, polished to a bright shine on the exterior. The front of the case is set with 18 rubies and 6 diamonds, forming the shape of a hexagon, with the rubies in groups of three for the sides and the diamonds set in the vertices. The diamonds are old mine cut stones of about 8 points in size, very vibrant and dazzling stones. The rubies are well matched in rich red color. The interior of the case has a brushed gold finish. The button for opening the case is also set with a ruby cabochon. The case is very well constructed, with a very handsome, classy look.

The case is in great condition. It snaps shut nicely and the button for opening it works well. There is a monogram on the interior which has been filled in rather than buffed out, so the gold is not thinned or weakened. There are no elastic bands, but the loops for them are there and they could easily be added. The stones are well set, with no chips. The gold has no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.

The case is stamped 14k as well as another hallmark in the shape of a dog's head with the letter A, possibly an Austrian mark. These hallmarks appear on the inside of the rim on each half of the case.

The case measures about 3 3/4 inches long, not including the button, and about 3 1/8 inches wide.

The case weighs 114.4 grams or 4.0 regular ounces.
