Great Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Enamel Colorful Bird Pin Red Yellow 1960s

It was made in Mexico, circa 1960s-70s.

The design features a bird (most likely a parrot) made of crushed stone enamel set into the silver circular frame.

The enamel is wonderfully translucent!

The stones have been crushed and placed in like stained glass colored windows. They feature traditional Mexican earth-tone colors yellow, reddish clay orange, green, black, and brown.

It is in very nice condition. The clasp works well.

What a fantastic conversation piece!
