Presented is a lovely set of 7 Alvin sterling silver teaspoons. These spoons are made in the Majestic pattern, which began production in 1900. This is a beautiful multi-motif Art Nouveau pattern, featuring a different flower on each type of utensil. Each spoon has a monogram of R on the handle.
This set is in great condition. The details of the design are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The set looks unused.
The stem of each spoon is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Alvin, as well as 'patent.' Each spoon is about 5 3/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 241 grams or 8.5 regular ounces. -jm
