Great set 6 Gorham Sterling Silver Louis XIV Soup / Serving / Table Spoons

Presented is a great set of 6 Gorham sterling silver serving or large soup spoons. These spoons are made in the elegant Louis XIV pattern, which began production in 1870. The spoons are a good large size, suitable for a variety of serving purposes, although they were originally considered soup spoons. Each spoon is monogrammed C in Gothic script on the back of the handle.

This set is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each spoon is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling and the patent date of 1870.

Each spoon is about 8 3/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 356 grams or 12.6 regular ounces.
