Presented is a superb set of 12 antique J. E. Caldwell sterling silver demitasse spoons. These spoons are made in a classic Threaded pattern, with a rounded end and pip to the back of the terminal. The spoons are exceptionally well made, with a considerable feeling of weight in the hand. Eleven of the spoons have a monogram of the letter D on the front of the handle, while the twelfth is blank.
Each spoon is stamped with the mark for J.E. Caldwell & Co as well as sterling.
This set is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is 4 1/4 inches long.
