Great Pair Modern 14k Gold & Diamond Mesh Weave Checkerboard Earrings

Presented is a nice pair of 14 karat gold and diamond earrings. These earrings
are modern, from the past 30 years or so. We believe they are American. The
earrings are done in the shape of octagons made of gold mesh. Both earrings
have a square checkerboard of diamonds in the center. Each of these squares is
set with 25 modern brilliant cut diamonds, of SI clarity and H/I color. The
diamonds are about half a point to one point in size, for a total diamond weight
of at least a quarter of a carat and probably nearer to half a carat. The
earrings have posts and butterfly backs, for pierced ears.
The earrings are in great condition. There are no missing stones, no breaks,
and no repairs.
The earrings are stamped 14 k on the removable butterfly backs. The rest of each earring has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed 14 karat gold as well.
The earrings are about 1 inch by 1 inch in size.
The total weight for both earrings is 13.4 grams.
