Presented is a lovely pair of 14 karat gold, diamond and chrome chalcedony earrings. These are relatively modern earrings, likely of American make. The earrings are set with oval pieces of chrome chalcedony in a rich green color, with a domed, swirled design. At the four cardinal points around each earring is a sparkling diamond, contrasting with the green and gold beautifully. The earrings have clip backs with a retractable post, so they can be converted for wear with both pierced and unpierced ears, a very clever design.
The earrings are in great overall condition. One of the stones has an inclusion near the bottom (near where the clipback attaches) which is hard to notice when the earrings are being worn. The clipbacks have a good strong spring mechanism.
Each earring is stamped 14k on the clipback.
Each earring measures about 3/4 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch.
The total weight for the pair of earrings is 9.4 grams.
