Presented is a lovely 18 karat gold, diamond and sapphire pin or brooch. The pin
is relatively modern, likely made in America. The pin is done in a beautiful
openwork ribbon design, set with 22 round cut sapphires and 23 diamonds. The
diamonds are vibrant, dazzling stones of SI to I-1 clarity and G color, totaling
at least 90 points in diamond weight, likely about 1 carat. The sapphires are
beautifully matched in their rich blue color. The pin has a capped style safety
clasp, though it could easily be converted by any jeweler for wear as a pendant.
