Glitzy Vintage Coro Sterling Silver and Rhinestone Collar/Choker, 13 3/8 inch

Presented  is a glitzy vintage American sterling silver and rhinestone collar/choker necklace.

It is a chain link construction. 

The necklace has a really good clasp which holds well.

Please scroll down to see our photographs...but...please  note:the necklace looks much better in  person than in the photographs. It is a lot more sparkly,  and the missing  stones don't notice nearly as much as they do in the photographs.

The  necklace is marked for sterling silver in two places,  and bears the maker's  mark “Coro”. The  style of the maker's mark dates it to within the period between 1938-1969,  though we think it could more specifically be from the  1950s.

A number of the settings are void of stones and would need  replacements. Of  486  rhinestones, about 93 are  missing! We like to be honest  about it!

The silver would brighten up  with some polishing.

The  necklace would be a nice addition to your vintage jewelry
collection or display.
