Presented is an incredible quality, antique, 14 karat yellow gold bead and human hair locket bracelet made during the mid 1800s, most likely around the 1840s. This Victorian necklace is a piece of mourning or memorial jewelry, finely hand weaved with the hair of a recently deceased loved one. The bracelet is large and slips over the wrist easily. The bracelet is comprised of both woven hair and has 14 karat yellow gold, hand engraved accents and a locket. The locket snaps securely shut and the back of the gold locket portion is engraved with the name JA Phillips.
The gold portions have been tested and are guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity.
