Fine Quality Italian 18k Gold Sapphire Leaf Pin Brooch

Presented is a handsome, 18 karat yellow gold and sapphire pin. This is a fairly modern piece and we believe it to be Italian in origin. This is a very fine quality piece and has good weight for its size. The whole piece is done in the form of three leaves, two of which are in an openwork design. There are 7 fabulous, well matched sapphires set in white 18 karat gold along the edges of the leaves. Each sapphire is approximately 10 points in size. The pin has a secure, plunger style clasp that pushes in and rotates to lock the pin back in place.

This piece is marked 18K and has a maker’s hallmark.

This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no missing stones and no repairs.

The pin measures 1 5/8 by 1 7/8 inches and weighs 12.2 grams.
