Presented is a fantastic Towle sterling silver punch or soup serving ladle. This piece is made in the popular Canterbury pattern, which began production in 1893. This pattern features a beaded edge and foliate scroll motifs. The bowl of the ladle has a rich gold wash.
This piece is in great condition. The gold wash of the bowl is in great shape. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece is stamped with the Towle maker's mark as well as sterling 925/1000 and copyright.
The ladle is about 10 1/2 inches long.
This piece weighs 127.3 grams or 4.5 regular ounces.
