Presented is a lovely 10 karat gold, red stone and seed pearl stickpin. This is an American piece, dating to the early 1900s. The head of the pin is done in an interesting sort of cartwheel-esque design, with a faceted red stone in the center and rope-twist gold 'spokes' radiating out. The red stone is manmade, either glass or synthetic, but very vibrant and sparkly. At the four cardinal points on the wheel is a tiny natural seed pearl.
This piece is in great condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The pin is stamped, tested and guaranteed 10 karat gold.
The pin is about 2 1/2 inches long.
The pin weighs 1.4 grams total, including the stopper bead. The weight of just the pin is 1.0 grams.
