Presented is an eye-catching 18 karat gold ruby and diamond brooch. This is a
fairly modern piece, probably of American make. The brooch is done in an elegant
swirl or knot of gold wires. There are four modern brilliant cut diamonds,
beautiful high quality stones of VS or even VVS clarity and F/G color, lively
sparkling that really pop. There are 16 rubies set in the brooch, lovely rich
red stones. All the stones are prong set in platinum, for better contrast.
This piece is in fabulous condition. The clasp functions well and closes
securely. The stones are well set. There are no splits, no breaks, and no
repairs.
The brooch is stamped 18k, tested and guaranteed.
The pin is about 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
