Exquisite High Grade 18k Gold Vs 1ct Diamond Ruby Earrings

Presented is a wonderful quality pair of 18K gold, ruby and diamond earrings.
The earrings are each bezel set with a fabulous oval faceted ruby at the center
with a ring of 9 larger diamonds around it and another ring of 26 smaller
diamonds around the outer edge. The rubies have wonderful pigeon blood red
color. The measurements of each ruby taken over the gold bezel are
approximately 5 millimeters by 6 millimeters. Each earring is set with 35
diamonds for a total of 70 diamonds. The diamonds are all modern round
brilliant cut stones. The 18 larger diamonds are approximately 3 points in size
each, and the 52 smaller diamonds are about 1 point each. We estimate the total
carat weight in diamonds for both earrings to be at least 1 carat, perhaps a
little more. The diamonds are high grade stones with G color and VS clarity.
The gold settings are beautifully made out of a deep yellow gold. They have
clip backs; the spring mechanisms on the clip backs are really strong and
secure. These are high end earrings. They were certainly very expensive when
new. They are fairly modern.
The earrings are marked 750 on the reverse for 18K gold. We have tested them
with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 18K gold.
The condition is excellent. The stones are well set. The clip backs are
strong and in good working order. There are no splits, no breaks, and no
repairs.
The earrings measure 7/8 inch by 1 inch.
The weight is 13.5 grams.
