Presented is a fabulous set of 4 German silver lobster picks. These picks were made by Wilkens & Sons and date to the 1800s. The picks have an openwork lobster design midway down the shaft, and delicate floral and scrollwork designs around the handle. Each pick has a monogram of M in Gothic script. What could be better than eating delicious lobster? Eating lobster with these very charming and stately picks.

This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each pick is stamped with the maker's mark for M. H. Wilkens & Sons, including 800 for the purity of the silver and the German crescent and crown mark. They are also marked 'solid silver.'

Each pick is about 7 1/4 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 142 grams or 5.0 regular ounces.
