Dazzling UNOAERRE 14k and 18k Gold Diamond & Ruby Oval Necklace

Presented is a gorgeous gold, diamond and ruby necklace created by UnoAErre of Italy and the Hammerman Brothers of New York. This piece dates to around the 1960s-1970s. The pendant of the necklace was designed and created by prestigious Hammerman Jewels, and is done in an oval form, set with a rich red ruby cabochon. This is a real, mined-from-the-ground ruby, verified by our gemologist. Surrounding the ruby are 10 modern brilliant cut diamonds, totaling about 25 points in weight, or a quarter of a carat. These are vibrant, dazzling stones of VS clarity and F-G color, set in white gold or platinum so they really pop. The oval pendant is made from 14 karat gold, while the chain, made by highly renowned UnoAErre Italia, is 18 karat gold.

The necklace is in great overall condition. One of the diamonds has a small fracture, which is only noticeable under a jeweler's loup, in good light. The ruby and diamonds are securely set. The clasp functions well and closes securely. The pendant is stamped with 14k and the Hammerman Brothers maker's mark. The chain is stamped on the link by the clasp with 750 for 18 karat gold and an Italian government registered maker's mark for UnoAErre.

The total length for the necklace is about 17 1/2 inches.

The total weight for the necklace is 8.8 grams. The 18 karat gold of the chain makes up about half of that weight, by our estimate.
