Dazzling 14k Yellow Gold Citrine Garnet Sunburst Pin Pendant Brooch

Presented is an enticing, 14 karat yellow gold, garnet and citrine brooch or pin of good weight for its size. This piece is fairly modern and is most likely American in origin. The piece is securely prong set with both large and small garnet and citrine gemstones. The stones are beautifully cut and reflect the light well. The back of the pin has two loops for hanging the brooch as a pendant. The clasp has a safety latch for added security.

The back is marked 14K and has a maker’s mark.

The pin measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and weighs 13.9 grams. The pear shaped citrines measure about 11.3 mm long by 8.1 mm wide. The marquise shaped garnets meausure about 9.3 mm long by 5.5 mm wide. The small round garnets measure about 3.2 mm diameter. The small round citrine measures about 4.2 mm diameter.
