 Presented is a fabulous Victorian 14 karat gold and onyx or black glass pin/pendant. This is an American piece, dating to the 1860s-1870s. The pin is set with an oval of onyx/glass surrounded by diamond shapes in the same material, with gold beading in between. The pin has an old C style clasp as well as a loop so it can be worn as a pendant. This is a beautiful piece of memorial jewelry, in a classic design.

The pin is in great condition. There are only the most tiny of abrasions to the center oval. There are no breaks and no repairs.

This piece is not stamped. We have tested the pin and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The pin measures about 1 1/4 by 1 3/8 inches.

This piece weighs 7.8 grams.
