PPresented is an antique set of 4 American coin silver coffee, tea or demitasse spoons made by Jacob Boelen II of NYC between 1760 to 1786, or possibly John Bering of Charleston South Carolina in the late 1700s. There are also a few other possibilities as these are rather common initials. These spoons were handmade in the late 1700s. Each pointed handle is hand engraved with designs and a monogram of the initials EA.

The back of each spoon is marked as shown. Guaranteed to be 900 purity silver.

This set is in good condition for its age. As you can see from the photographs, there are some small dings to all of the bowls.

Length: 5 3/8 inches.

Weight: 37 grams.
