Presented is an antique, coin silver demitasse or coffee spoon, probably made by Edward Duffield of Philadelphia between 1755 to 1770. The spoon is done in a classic, rounded tip form. The back of the handle has an old, original monogram of the initials ES. The back of the bowl has a lovely, crisp shell decoration.
The back has a maker's mark of ED. This piece is guaranteed to be 900 purity silver.
The spoon is in good overall condition for its age. There is some wear to the bowl and a couple of tiny dings.
