Beautiful VTG Russian Check Cut Glass Crystal Covered Bowl Candy Dish

Presented is a beautiful cut glass covered bowl or candy dish. This is not an American Brilliant Period piece, but the quality of the cutting is exceptional nonetheless. We aren't sure where this piece was made, but we believe it to be a 20th century piece. The bowl and its lid are decorated throughout with a Russian cut pattern, and the lid has a prominent faceted finial. As a candy dish this bowl would be on the larger side, but it would also make an excellent general purpose covered serving dish as well.
This piece is in excellent condition. There is some shelf wear to the underside. There are no chips, no cracks, no sickness or discoloration to the glass.
The dish measures about 6 3/4 inches in diameter and stands about 6 3/4 inches to the top of the finial, or about 3 3/8 inches to the top of the rim. -jm
