Antique Victorian 14K Rose Gold Shell Twisted Knot Top Hair Comb Pin 1 1/4" Wide

Presented is an antique, American, 14 karat rose gold and natural shell hair pin or comb made during the late 1800s. This piece was made between the 1870s and 1900. The decorative, 14 karat rose gold top is done in an ornate, twisted or knotted form.

The gold portion has been tested and is guaranteed to be 14  karat gold purity.

This piece is in great overall condition, especially considering age. There is an internal bruise to the shell comb part, but the piece is still solidly constructed.
