Antique Sterling Silver Whiting Lily 1902 Art Nouveau Gold Bowl Serving Spoon
Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving spoon made by the Whiting Manufacturing Company during the first quarter of the 1900s. This piece is in the Lily pattern, which was patented in 1902 and it is old, original production. This Art Nouveau piece has a very decorative handle that is hand chased with lily flowers and has a monogram of the letter C. The large, shell or ruffle form bowl has a light gold wash.
The back is marked for Whiting, sterling silver, patent 1902 and bears a retailer's mark for Williams & Son.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are no damages or repairs.
