Presented is a beautiful, sterling silver lettuce fork made by Dominick & Haff for retail by A. Stowell & Company. This piece is in the Mazarin pattern, which was patented in 1892. This fork is old, original production. The middle of the handle is in a twist form and the top has a lovely gadrooned edge with an embellishment at the tip. The front of the handle has a monogram of the letter E and the tines have a matte finish and a gold wash.
The back is marked with the Dominick & Haff hallmark, sterling, patent 1892 and A. Stowell & Co.
This piece is in fabulous condition and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The fork measures 9 3/4 inches long and weighs 42 grams or 1.5 ounces.
