Presented is a fine sterling silver serving fork by the highly regarded Arts and Crafts silversmith, Arthur Stone. The fork is completely handmade, as one would expect with silver from Arthur Stone. The two tined fork is done in the Pointed End pattern which was first produced in 1906. The fork is monogrammed FMS on the end of the handle. This monogram could be removed.
The fork is hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Arthur Stone, Sterling, and E for the craftsman, George Erickson. Erickson worked for Stone from 1915 to 1932.
The condition is excellent. The monogram could be removed if you wish. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The fork is 9 1/4 inches long.
The weight is 81.3 grams or 2.8 ounces.
