Antique c1900 Sterling Silver Frank Whiting Cattails aka Dolphin Serving Fork
Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving fork made by Frank M. Whiting during the late 1800s or very early 1900s. This piece is in the Cattails aka Dolphin pattern, patented circa 1900. This large fork is a good weight for its size. The decorative handle is covered in cattails and there is are stylized dolphins or fish along the sides at the top. This is a lovely, Art Nouveau pattern and this piece has never been monogrammed.
The back is marked for Frank M. Whiting and sterling silver.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp. There are no damages or repairs.
