Antique c1890 Hanau German Silver Dutch 1600s Style Apostle Serving Spoon 7"

Presented is an antique, German silver serving spoon made during the late 19th century. This piece is done in a 1600s or 17th century Apostle spoon form. The chased and twisted/swirled shaft handle is topped with a full figural apostle in his robes. This is a fine quality, handcrafted piece.

There is an old, Dutch import mark on the front of the handle and Hanau German maker's marks on the back of the bowl. Guaranteed to be 833-850 purity silver.

This piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age and the designs are crisp. There are no damages or repairs.
