Presented is an antique, French silver berry strainer or pierced serving spoon made during the last quarter of the 19th century. This piece is at least 800 purity silver, but likely 950 purity silver, which was is higher than 925 sterling silver purity. The back of the handle has an intricate monogram and the pierced bowl is done in a pretty shell form.

The back of the handle bears the French swan, small article guarantee mark.

This piece is in great overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is minimal surface wear with no damages and no repairs.
