Antique American 14K White Gold & Diamond Circle Pin Brooch

Presented is a gorgeous 14 karat white gold and diamond circle pin made in America between 1910-1930. The openwork circle is decorated with flowers and there is a bow design on one side. Three diamonds are set on the inside of the circle. I believe the three diamonds were later added. The diamonds are old mine cuts and transitional cuts with good clarity. The diamonds at the 6 o'clock position and at the 9 o'clock have VS-2 clarity and the diamond at the 12 o'clock position has SI-2 clarity. The 9 o'clock diamond has G-H color, and others have I color. The total diamond weight is at least 33 points, or about 1/3 of a carat, possibly more.

The pin is marked on the clasp with 14K for 14K gold around a T for the highly renown maker of the early last century, Traub Manufacturing of Detroit Michigan. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.

This piece is in fabulous condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits and no repairs.

The pin measures 1 1/8 inch in diameter.

The weight is 3.4 grams.
