Presented is an antique, sterling silver pierced strainer ladle made by William Eaton of London in 1827. This early 19th century, Georgian piece is done in a classic Fiddle pattern and the front of the handle has an old, original monogram of the initials CH. The bowl is pierced with dot and cross designs.

The back is marked with the leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter m for the year 1827 and a maker's mark for William Eaton.

This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age with minimal surface wear and no damages or repairs.
