Presented is an antique, sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle made in London in 1804. This early 19th century, Georgian piece is done in a classic Fiddle pattern. The front of the handle has a finely hand engraved crest of a rampant horse.
The back is marked with the leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter I for the year 1804 and a maker's mark.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age, but there are no damages or repairs.
